Groundhog Day isn’t really a holiday that people often think about. A groundhog is pulled from the ground and some people believe that its shadow controls when Spring finally arrives. But what if some sort of body swap scenario spices this up just enough to make the holiday not one of the most forgettable holidays. What if the groundhog is actually a human possessing their body? What if Groundhog Day actually repeats with a new body for each cycle? Sticking with a similar idea to that, what if the day repeating comes with a new body, ending when the person finally fully adapts to their new body?
