Paige leapt towards her new older sister and tried to get the stone. And she succeeded ... but only for a moment. When Sarah realized what Paige was trying to do, she tried to get the stone back, and that caused the stone to slip out of her new sister's hand and get tossed a few feet away ... through the open bedroom door and into the hallway.
Both of them scrambled to get to it first, but they were both beaten by their mother.

"No buts," Susan said. "You two should be ashamed of yourselves. I'm just glad that your father wasn't here to see this."
"Can I have my stone back?" Sarah asked.
"Hey, it's my stone!" Paige yelled.
"Both of you be quiet!" Susan yelled. She sighed, then said "You know, I wish ..."
