A series of strange meteor-like objects lands in an isolated region of Japan. Monarch investigates, expecting either a Titan-related phenomenon or extraterrestrial debris. Instead, the team discovers signs of deliberate construction beneath the impact sites. The objects were not meteors. They were vessels belonging to the Garoga aliens, who have begun deploying monstrous Terror-Beasts as part of an invasion plan. Unknown to Monarch, a member of the Zone Family has already detected the enemy's arrival.
