An inexplicable spatial disturbance appears above Tokyo Bay. As emergency systems activate, a grotesque creature slowly emerges from the water. Unlike the Godzilla already known to Monarch, this organism possesses strange biological characteristics and seems to be undergoing a continuous transformation. The scientists are horrified when its radioactive signature begins intensifying. Then their monitoring stations detect another anomaly: the original Godzilla is moving toward Japan. Soon, two very different incarnations of the King of the Monsters may confront one another.
