First they went on Saturday and found Mikey.

"Hey, Mikey, we'll give you 20 dollars if you tell Diamond here that she needs a last name," Karyn tapped on his bedroom window.

Mikey's eyes lit up, and he came bounding out of the house. "You need a last name!" he shouted, followed quickly by, "Here, copy off me!"

And a few seconds later, Diamond was a Madison again.

"Is anybody here named Jon?" Karyn shouted in the mall a little later that afternoon.

Several people stopped, bewildered. Three people raised their hands.

"Spelled J-O-N, not J-O-H-N," Karyn loudly clarified.

One guy kept his hand up, confused, while the other two dropped their hands.

"That's our guy," Karyn smiled, pulling out another bill while dragging Diamond over.

"Hey," Jon stopped a guy heading into the mall bathroom. "We'll give you 20 bucks if you tell me I need to be a guy to go in there."

The teen flicked his eyes up and down Jon's front, pausing at her breasts for a few beats. A sly smile broke across his face. "Girl, with a body like that, if you want to come in here with me, it doesn't matter who or what you are."

Jon rolled her eyes. "Never mind." She turned to Karyn. "Let's find someone who isn't gross, I'd rather my male identity not be copied off a guy like this."

It took asking five more guys their age before they finally found one suitable.

"Do you want to get rid of the freckles?" Karyn asked.

Jon glanced at his reflection in a shop window. "Honestly, they're such a low priority. These happened... when? During all the facial adjustments Sarah implemented? ... wait, did you fix all of my face with the notebook except the freckles?"

Karyn smiled sheepishly. "I skipped over them so I could tease you about them for a little bit."

Jon laughed, wrapping his arm around her and pulling her in tight to his side. "You saved me from Sarah. You can tease me all you want."

"Hey, hot stuff, you need to get over here so we can talk!" came from a shout behind them, almost certainly because of Jon's strut.

"That's one item we'll cross of the list later tonight when we allow it to kick in," Karyn muttered.

"Oh, sure, there's exercise approaches that are probably a lot better for you. You just need to be a runner, not someone who is on the cheerleading team," the guy working in the sporting goods store offered. "Here, copy off me."

"Not exactly what we asked for, but I'll take it. Here's your 20 dollars," Jon thanked him.

"Oh, look, that girl over there has your old hair color!" Karyn pointed. "Quick, before she leaves!"

"Do you think Nadine Ferguson would be the right person to remove me being proud of my breasts?" Jon wondered, seeing her walking down the street.

Karyn lit up. "Oh, great choice." She paused. "Well, maybe. It might wrap your perspective up in a religious angle. Let's try it and then cross it out later if you don't like it once it sets in."

"We might need to offer the 20 dollars as a donation to her religious cause," Jon admitted, as they jogged over to Nadine.

"Do we get rid of the things from Mrs. Kline?" Karyn asked that night, laying next together in Jon's room on his bed. She scanned the torn page, tapping it with a pencil.

Jon's smile bore into her. "Have you seen the clothes in my closet here? That's all her influence. I don't know how we write over her... what was it? Energy, confidence, passion, oh, and the bit of flair?"

"Piece by piece, I guess," Karyn mused. "Might take it a while to get right."

"We've got plenty of money left," Jon turned on his side. "Maybe let's see how much we want to get rid of those aspects before we start overwriting her." He leaned in and kissed her hungrily.

"You need to keep some of these secrets to yourself, Jon!" Zoe covered her ears the next morning at breakfast. "Here, copy off me."

"I forgot about that one!" Jon smirked. "Thanks, Zoe."

"That guy," Karyn pointed at a man running on a treadmill at the gym. "How about his chest?"

"I think that would work. Maybe if we team it up with that guy's arms?" Jon pointed at someone else.

"You're sure you don't want to keep Biff's arms?" Karyn asked.

Jon shook his head. "These are a bit too muscle-bound and I don't want Biff's inclinations to keep them this buff in my head."

"Fair enough," Karyn paused. "Do you want to go into the locker room and get rid of Steve's dick, too?"

Jon stared at her. "One, that's not a conversation I want to have, offering random guys in the bathroom 20 dollars to fix my penis." He paused. "Ok, the Mrs. Kline in my head wants to have that conversation, but still, no. And two, also no, I think I'm very much fine keeping it."

Karyn laughed. "Let's go talk to Mr. Treadmill Guy, then."

"You need a wallet, not a purse?" the guy said, more confused than anything. "Here, copy off me?"

"And here's $20," Karyn smiled.

"We're up to ten unwanted copying things that we'll have to cross off at the end of the week?" Jon asked.

Karyn scanned the notebook. "Twelve. I wish I could cross them off now, but they're kind of just floating on the page like they're not really written down."

"Save it for a controlled environment," he pulled her in and kissed her on the top of the head. "Speaking of... we're at a pretty good stopping point for the weekend. What if we head back to your place for a little while? We deserve to reward ourselves for all we've pulled off this weekend."

She smiled. "You think we should, huh?"

Jon hugged her. "I think I need to continue showing you how grateful I am for you saving me, and to continue marking how... memorable the beginning of our relationship has been."

"You're going to use that need joke all the time, aren't you?" She rolled her eyes, but let herself be pulled along back to her house.

"For as long as you let me," Jon smiled and pulled her in for another kiss.
