Karyn opened the front door. "Jon? Are you home?"
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a dog ran into the room and barked at her.
Karyn was so startled, she nearly let out a scream. As she settled down, she whispered to herself "Jon didn't tell me he got a dog."
She moved past the dog and walked upstairs to Jon's bedroom, but he wasn't there.
"Jon, where could you be?" Karyn asked.
The dog barked behind her.
By the time Karyn got to Jon's house, Sarah was already back at her house, thinking about what else she could wish for. Her first wish was certainly a wicked one, but it was only the beginning. The world had not yet seen the extent of her cruelty.
But it would soon.
