Stephanie Wright looked up from the book she was reading and watched as a girl was flirting with a boy at one of the nearby tables. They were making such a show of it (at one point, they were even kissing) that the librarian had to come over and make them stop. She recognized the girl. It was that slut Sabrina Johnson. Why was she even here at the library?
She returned to her book, but was soon interrupted again.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't the book dweeb Stephanie Wright," Sabrina said.
Stephanie dropped her book and looked at the girl. She even dressed like a slut. How did they even let her into the library dressed like that?
"It's called a bookworm, not a book dweeb."
"Ugh, whatever," Sabrina said, rolling her eyes.
"What do you want?"
"Do I need a reason to bother you?"
Someone coughed nearby. Both girls turned and saw the librarian looking in their direction, with a very stern look on her face.
"Looks like you're not wanted here," Stephanie said. For once, she kind of felt triumphant. Too bad she couldn't feel like this at school. It was like she was a different person here at the town library.
Sabrina scoffed at her, but then walked away towards the exit.
As Stephanie watched the slut walk away, she muttered to herself "I wish ..."
