Needing to have the body fluids from someone from the same gender was rough. I can't imagine having to have to kiss or fuck a guy if I wasn't straight. I had Suzie, but I was bisexual. Well, it could still work out. Blood was a body fluid. That would probably mean killing the man while still in the water. At the very least, it would involve the merfolk injuring the humans. We had the blessing of the moon goddess. We did not have to deal with all that indignity. All that we needed to do was dry off. "Look at that guppy. He has no pride as a merfolk. Letting himself be used for human enjoyment and lust is shameful." Dennis said with balled fists. I just shrugged my shoulders. It was easy to say for a tribal warrior. "These people were converted and then abandoned. All of them had to find ways to survive here on the land." I said to him. We had a great time with the pimp and the whores. It was actually nice to experience everything in good company. The merfolk were very incredulous. The tribes were off the shore in a subtropical zone. They had never conceived of deep water creatures or other zones.
Dennis and Nabo in particular were stunned by the diversity of sea life. Freshwater fish threw them all for a loop. At the end of the day, we were told to go home. On top of that, we would have the next day off. That was good with me. There was something that I had heard about. It was a local pool that allowed merfolk to swim from 10 pm to 1 am. I thought it was a sick joke. Now that I knew that this was something that everyone knew about. I did get the flyer from a beautiful woman when I was on my way home from the sushi restaurant. She was probably a mermaid. I told the others about it. They seemed willing to give it a shot. There was only so much splashing and submerging you could do with a bathtub. It was open to the public everyday. We went to the sushi restaurant for dinner. That was when a bunch of human guys started to hit on us. I was not sure why this was happening. When asked, Tetsu scoffed out loud. He said "Every time a girl flirts with them, they say that they are not interested in 'human females'. Then males come, and they tolerate it. Eventually, people take hints."
Obviously, it was okay to be gay. I looked at them though in confusion. "Do you guys want to mate with human males?" I asked. They looked insulted. "That's what all of these males are trying to get after!? I thought they just wanted to know more about us!" Wyne snapped. "I'm not too happy about these males thinking they can just treat me like some female." Nabo said plainly with his arms crossed. He had a very strained smile on his face as he said it. That meant Nabo was pissed. "Well, if you aren't gay, how are you able to have your legs? Girls can't do it for you. Don't you need body fluids to walk on land?" Tetsu asked. I spoke up and said "We have our ways. The main takeaway is that we're not looking for any relationships right now." I did not know how us tribal would be taken. It was one thing to just culturally accept that certain people could become merfolk. It was another thing to be the monsters that cause that. Violently drowning people was not a joke people could just let go. After that, we all went to the store. Ice cream was a treat they loved. We ate in the park until it was time.
