Everyone was getting ready for Managed Descent. It was a joint pay-per-view between Boom and Picric. Our tag team match was going to be the second match. There was a choice that we had: who was going to represent our faction against The Aces. I put my hand in the ring for the match. Jax said "Davie's been annoying all week. All of the whining pisses me off. Just let him do it already!" This seemingly radical change of heart was based on the blackmail material that I had on him. Knox and Rex did not know about Jax fucking Dash Forrest yet. It was not my business to tell them and cause strife between the triplets. I would use the information to my benefit though. I wanted in on the tag match. I had the votes for it. Rex shrugged his shoulder. "Alright. I don't mind teaming with Davie." he said. Knox and Jax had no problems with that happening. It was settled. When we were out in the ring, it was the Cora brothers that met us for the fight. I had expected it. Everyone but us were banned from ringside for the match. Management wanted a cleaner fight. I could get behind that notion. We'd fight.
Fighting was not hard at all. We cut the ring in half as much as possible. Griffin and Grayson were doing the same when the momentum was in their favor. The Coras, in this match, were bringing the fight to us. They wanted to be the next #1 contenders for the OPW Tag Team Championships. That was something that I wanted to see. If it was not a good match, I would be disappointed. Still, I wanted to win the tag titles more. I did my best to damage them when I was the legal man. When I was not the legal man, I ran around and beat up the illegal man of the other team. This weakened them enough that Rex was able to finish them off. After doing his finisher on a really wobbly Grayson, I swept the legs from under Griffin while he was on the apron. Rex was able to get the pin. We won the match. I got up on the apron my side. The celebration was great. We were going to the back as the #1 contenders. Knox and Jax celebrated our win. That was not all. Lily, Isabella and Demona joined in as well. It was a good time. A couple of matches later, it was time for the steel cage. We all watched it.
It was a very passionate match. Dash gave it his all. His all was not enough this time. I was actually sad to see it. Azure was the current International Champion. He was a huge freak that painted his entire body blue. No one could deny that he was a deadly striker with his kicks and punches though. Dash was a fighter, but he just could not deal with the knees and elbows of the champion. Dash was laid out by a roundhouse kick and he could not get back up. Azure was heavily injured, but that did not stop him from slowly climbing up to the top of the cage. He looked at the lifeless body of the challenger before smiling. He then did a Shooting Star Press from the top of the cage. It was an insane move. Everyone in the arena popped for that. Azure got the pin and retained the championship. Dash was left a broken mess. He needed to be carried to the back by the referee. When the cage was lifted up, Mia Cash came out with Garrett Indigo. She picked Jax to fight. He was weaker than Knox. They got the fight they wanted, and Jax beat her fair and square. Knox kept Garrett in check. Amazing.
