The move to Picric was a challenge. It was just as the general manager said. Whereas Boom only had 5 matches on their card, Picric had 7. Some huge promotions had as many as 9 matches in a single night. This still did not mean that there was space for us here. Several rivalries were going on at once. All of them had really fierce competition in their own divisions. There were 4 titles on Picric, but 1 was for female wrestlers only. I would not be able to compete for that one. I was intersex here. They were the OPW Women's Championship, the OPW World Tag Team Championships, the OPW International Title and the OPW World Heavyweight Championship. Even if all 7 matches had 8 people in them, that would be 56 wrestlers. 8 was the limit for wrestlers in the ring at one time for safety. There were 10 man gauntlets and battle royales too. That would bump it up to 70. There were over 130 signed wrestlers on Picric. There were 200 on Boom with only 5 matches on Boom. We had been signed initially to be gimmick jobbers. We would be nobodies if we did not do that first promo.
24/7 championship runs certainly helped. We were in the OPW record books, and that could not be denied. Still, only getting promos and vignettes with the 24/7 title or when people needed security was not going to do wonders for our careers. We called our shot and made good on the opportunity. Here in Picric, there was a shortage of slots for even promos and vignettes. On Boom, it was first come first serve each night with 2 slots available. Here, there was a backlog. There were 3 slots for promos and 1 vignette. That vignette was usually taken by the antics of the 24/7 Championship if a Picric wrestler was going to win or lose it. Lots of people wanted time to promo. It was also the case that I only had a 2 and the triplets had 1's. Even if there was a slot free, no one would give it to us. That meant that we were stuck in catering with nothing to do most shows. It was like we were jobbers and not former multiple time champions. That was discouraging. There was nothing that we could do about it though. All we could do was wait. We were the police. We were faces too. I had a plan.
Faces were the good guys. Heels were the bad guys. It would not be good for us to randomly beat up on someone. The fans would not like it at all. Being booed was not something that I would want to experience. I was pretty sure that the triplets were the same way. That was out. It did not mean that we could not be involved. People need help every once in awhile. We first came into the company to be bodyguards for Rhett Griffin. We could run that storyline back. If someone needed help, we could provide them some aid. It would naturally provide us a reason to get matches. TV time was important. All the matches we could win would propel us forward. Once we got some real momentum going, we could make some moves in the divisions that we wanted. None of us could challenge for a title if we had no wins in the division. The management here was not pissed at us like on Boom. They were not going to do any favors for us either. This is something we would have to move on by ourselves. My plan to get us back on television required us to wait a little. We could not do it all alone.
