Kicking off their return was good. Spreading out the wealth was better. After the first match, we got a referee. Rex let Jax pin him. Jax let Knox pin him. In really quick succession, I pinned Knox. I then let Rex pin me because he was the one to beat Brett in the first place. Rex was a 4 time 24/7 champion. Knox and I were as well. Jax's record was good too. He was a 3 time champion. That fulfilled the 3-Peat Champion criteria. On Wednesday, it was time for Boom. Knox and I had singles action. I was going to be fighting in the second match of the card. I was going to be fighting Matthew Joy. Nathan Hope was going to be in his corner. Rex was going to be managing me for my match. Knox was going to be in the main event. Jax was going to be his manager. Noah Mason was going to defend the title against Ethan Liams. Rhett wanted to get in on the match. He was the former champion after all. It was a shame that he did not have the rematch clause in his contract. Noah gave him a chance. If he could beat Knox, he was in. It would be a big triple threat. If Knox won, he was in.
For my match, it was an easy victory. I wanted to do my best to keep the momentum on our side. This was not just a rematch, it was a grudge match. Unfortunately, one of the wrestlers came from the crowd and rolled Rex up for the pin when he was not paying attention. That was fine with me. We did enough with it. Jax stood across from Rhett Griffin later in the night. Even though he was not as successful as his brothers, Knox had been doing very well in the Television division. The last time they fought, Rhett won in a close contest. This time, Jax was there to ensure there was no funny business. Knox had to him Rhett with his finisher 3 times, but it worked. He was going to fight for the Television title in a triple threat at the PPV. Jax and Rex had long since punched their ticket to the PPV. The triplets had a chance to take all the gold for Police Box on Sunday. That would further cement our small faction as the most dominant force on Boom. All of them were having a success. I was the leader, but it seemed I was not getting as much of a push. That would need to change very soon.
Chasing titles could wait until I had finished my road to the perfect 20-0 winning streak. The titles could come at any time after that. While I was focusing on that, I could support the triplets. They were my friends. Since they all were members of my faction, them doing well looked good on me. As long as I was winning all of my matches and leading the charge, things would be fine. The crowds were behind us for the most part. When we went out, we got a pop. The cheers were on point. The triplets were really excited for the PPV. This was something that they had dreamed about together as children. I was really excited too. wanted them all to do their best and win. If I had to choose just one however, I was rooting the most for Knox. Jax and Rex had already become champions. This was Knox's second bite at the apple. He was going to do well. If he could be Television champion, I knew that things would really change for him. Things would change for the whole faction. I would make sure of it. It was only our rookie year and we were on track to be a big stable of legends here in OPW.
