Xylophone chimes went off around the middle of the show. That was part of the theme music of the general manager. As promised a man came out to the ring followed by a referee. The ref was holding the title covered in a satin cloth. The man was the CEO of OPW. He said "Thank you everyone. I try my best to ensure the our loyal fans we have all over the world have the best possible experience. That means bringing in new talent that means giving you fresh match ups and exciting matches. But it also means something else." He then took a purposeful pause for the crowd. Their excitement boiled over with cheers and chants. "It also means that I need to pick my game up and change it. That's why I made this new title. It is bound to give you an exciting experience. When this is done, you'll know that I love you all and will always put you first." He then pointed to the referee. "Larry Wilby, our most senior referee, unveil the championship." It was a green belt with silver hourglass side plates. Further off were circular plates with 24/7 on them. The center plate was a oval golden plate.
I thought that it was an unique looking title belt. It was far from the best, but it was not ugly or anything. "I give to you the 24/7 championship. Its for all of our lovely wrestlers on OPW, whether on Boom or Picric." That made me perk up. I knew it would be open to all, but I wanted to hear more. "This is a title that will be defended 24/7 hours a day. Anytime. Anywhere. In just a moment, we will vacate the ring. When the bell rings, the first wrestler to claim the title and escape the arena with the title will have the honor of being the inaugural champion. Larry, let's go." The ref put the title down and I looked at Knox, Jax and Rex. "You should go for it. We will get the car running." I said quickly. We did not have to the first ones to have it. We just needed to be the last ones to have it before driving off with it. They looked at each other and ran out the locker room. Knox then looked at me. He always was the most mature of the triplets. He gave me a smirk before saying "Well, it looks like I have to go down and get the engine running. You can pack all of our stuff for us." He then walked off.
Walking off like I was some lackey did not make me feel good. I rolled my eyes and packed. Luckily, us Boom wrestlers only had a duffel bag each. I brought them to the dark gray sedan in the parking lot. We stuffed it down into the trunk and backseat of the car. All that we needed to do was wait for the others to come over. We heard a commotion and we saw Aaron Parker running to us with the title. He was yet another jobber on Boom. That was not a good sign. Jax gave him a big boot that knocked him out. Knox picked up the title and threw it in the car. It was only when the 3 of us were inside that we drove off. Since Knox was the last one to touch it, he was the first ever 24/7 champion. It was an impressive feat. We needed to circle back to pick Rex up though. He got attacked when he grabbed hold of it. Everyone was happy with the state of affairs. That was when I got the 3 hour warning. This was actually a very good place to call it. I had not bought a house here yet. I was in a hotel. So were the triplets. We were all small fry. It was not enough to buy a house yet. We went there.
