Quite frankly, Rhett Griffin was a total monster. He had a big stat line. I was pretty advanced for my level. That was due to the bonus for playing the game so early. I had a very hearty 42 skill points. Rhett had way more than I did. It was not even fair when you considered that we were the same level. Knox, Jax and Rex were no match for a guy like Rhett either. They were Strength 6, Submission 4, Endurance 6, Technique 8, Speed 1, Diving 0, Tag 0, Charisma 3, Object 3, and Personnel 0. That was the equivalent of 62 skill points. It was not a surprise when Knox was beaten. Knox gave it his all in his in-ring debut. He had a shitty, sexy policeman outfit on when he went down to the ring. His theme was an EDM soundtrack with police sirens. The others would have the same one. Mine was more slow and refined as a detective. Knox still came up short in the first match. He got pinned. That meant that Rhett had to get away from us. Surprisingly, the numbers game was actually able to take him down by working together. They were able to put their cuffs on him and drag him to the back.

I was honestly not expecting this result. Jax and Rex got their own debut win in the books. I was happy for them. Since we had him, it was time to "lose" him. Rhett had to get free for the rivalry to continue. That was easy. We all were the police. We were given a 4 on 4 tag match. That meant that we would not be able to watch him. We got a segment where we used "advanced interrogation" tactics to get information out of him. We came out on top. This was my in-ring debut and my first win. Now that this happened, Knox finally got a win in the books. It gave Rhett all of the time in the world to be released. When we got back to where we held him, he was gone. We were so heated after that. That allowed me to call him out the next week. Rhett wanted some payback. Since I was the leader of the group, the officers all came to manage me at ringside. Because we were billed as faces, we were not allowed to cheat in the match. It was up to me to win or lose cleanly. He was stronger, but I was faster. I was a good Player. I was also better at submissions than Rhett. I did not want to lose now.
Making my move, I knew it was going to be a big challenge. I needed to make sure to keep out of his clutches. He was better than me in almost every offensive skill. The only way that I would be able to win would be to wear him down and lock in some really nice submissions. He hit me hard and his grapples were almost as nasty. I was ducking and diving out of the way more than I was throwing punches and kicks of my own. I did my best to keep in the fight. Going outside the ring for breaks allowed me to catch my breath. Rhett would follow me out, but I would just run around him. That allowed me to get some cheap shots in. It whittled him down bit by bit. I also let me charge up a signature. When I caught him up on the ropes, I was able to do the Middle Rope Stretch. Using the ropes was illegal. I got a 4 count from the referee before I dropped it. I would be DQ'ed at 5. That would result in a big loss. Now that I did my signature, it was time for my finisher. I then did the Handspring Kick. He went down. I covered him. I only got a 2 count. He was still in this thing. I would need to do more.
