I did not want to be a ref, ring announcer or commentator. That made it easy to not put any points in Personnel. There were still 9 disciplines to put my 40 points into. The decision was a start. Putting 4 in each of the 9 got me a rating of 2 out of 10 in each of them. I still had 4 points left over. I wanted to be a submission specialist. The idea of making people tap out from my moves was pretty appealing. I put 2 more skill points into it. That gave me a 3 out of 10 in my Submission. I put a skill point in Strength because I wanted my grapples to do more damage. I also wanted to be able to grapple the heavier opponents. My strikes also needed to be powerful, so I put the last skill point into my Technique. My stats were looking pretty even: Strength 2.5, Submission 3, Endurance 2, Technique 2.5, Speed 2, Diving 2, Tag 2, Charisma 2, Object 2, and Personnel 0. That was not too good. It definitely would put me in the jobber tier for a while. I was a jobber, but I had a head start on the things I wanted to improve. I was at the big training facility for OPW. OPW stood for Optimal Professional Wrestling.

Being here was obviously for a reason. This was probably the tutorial promotion. I checked my menu for more information on it. OPW was not the highest rated now. It was far from the worst. It had a main show on Wednesdays and a televised developmental show on Mondays. I went up to the front door and a popup appeared. It just said "Requirements for entry: Any attribute 3 or higher or Personnel 1 or higher." I sighed when I read it. I really had made the right choice. It let me pass and I was given another popup that asked if I wanted to join OPW. I said I did and it dissipated. This meant that I was officially a pro wrestler now. I would be fighting people and trying to win championships. Everything would start from right here. People would watch me fight, both in the arena and on TV. If I could win and improve my skills, I might even be able to move onto an even bigger promotion. I was ready to get this started. Once I walked inside, I was told where the locker room and the practice rings were. There were several coaches in here. Each of them was to improve one of the 10 disciplines.

The training facility was basically the tutorial of the game. It taught me the basics of each attribute and how to execute moves. It was mostly manual, but there was an auto-suggestive component as well. It could do all of the punches and kicks I wanted, but the complex holds and diving could be done by just thinking of the move. It was more than just training on wrestling. There was also training on the Personnel disciplines as well. It took me a week of training before I began to fully get the hang of things. I had made some friends with the fellow B-tier talent. There were twins named Byron and Benson Dustman. They were pretty cool. They were about three inches taller than me at 6'4. They had light complexions and sixpacks. There was also Alan Shallot. He was olive toned and 6 feet tall. He was nice to me as well. I also ran into some I did not like. Owen Garter was 6'6 and pale as fuck. He had blond hair and a very snarky attitude. Joseph Starr was always angry and pushed me around when no one was looking. "Get out of here. I'm going to be the best. You couldn't lace my boots."
