He just frowned at me. Oswin did not like being called out in front of all his subordinates. "That was nothing other than a ploy to get you to lower your guard around me." he said indignantly. "It worked a little bit on me. We're friends now, and that's what really counts in the end." I teased gently. He narrowed his eyes at me now. "No, we are not friends. I told you this already Brianne. We are strategic allies with a common enemy and that is it!" he growled, daring me to contradict him again. The others in the alley were also glaring at me. Not a single one was amused by my antics. This was not the time or place to be messing with Oswin. "Of course Oswin. Whatever you say." I said after a very deep sigh. Oswin simply shrugged his shoulders. "It's exactly whatever I say. Brianne, this would go a lot easier for us if you would just learn your place." he said. He was trying to play it off like he was not bothered at all. This was how he was going to save face. I did not say anything else. At the end of the day, I really did respect Oswin and the mission he was taking on nearly by himself. It was cool.
Oswin had the keys as the owner of the club. He let everyone in. Walking inside, I could see that this was a pretty good venue. You could have really fun parties or a nice concert in here. Seeing as Oswin was now a chart topping artist, both could happen on any day. Oswin pointed at the metal door at the end of the hallway. "This is going to be a meeting for active members of Impact Clan. The rest of you can go exploring the club until we are done." he told me and the new AEP unit. I began walking off. It did not matter what they were plotting. There would be nothing to gain from listening in on the meeting. Oswin would tell me if he wanted my help. It was when I got to the open area of the club that a familiar voice called out to me. "Looks like you've come here to finally have your semen extracted. That, or be violated." he said. It was the bratty Volition Clan member that joined 03 at the wedding party. I looked around, and then I saw him. 03 was going to be attending as well. "Did you get here early? I met with Oswin when he told me to meet." "Doors can't stop us." 04 gloated. I just rolled my eyes.
