He slid open the door and peeked cautiously around the corner.
Velothesa was sitting upright in her bed coughing lightly, her slender shoulders shaking.
She was wearing one of Akane’s looser fitting martial arts uniforms, one of the only garments in the household that could fit the woman’s muscular build.
Rising to his feet, Ranma entered the room slowly, approaching the injured woman’s bed with decided caution. “How’re ya feeling?” He asked, trying hard to keep a friendly tone in his voice.
The woman turned her head away from him, avoiding eye contact. She seemed too proud to cry in front of him; but nevertheless; that was exactly what she was doing, tiny silver tears falling down to the bed’s sheets that she had pulled up all about her.
“Tell me, outlander, where am I?” Her voice shook with sadness.
“You’re in Nerima, at the Tendo School of Anything Goes Martial Arts!”
“Where is this strange Nerima? Are you one of the many towns of Tamriel? Or is this an out-land port?”
“Tamriel?” Ranma asked. “Where’s that?”
The woman sighed.
“I fear,” She said after a few moments of silence. “That I have found myself in a world that differs greatly from the one from which I came.”
Ranma raised an eyebrow, “Not your world eh? Then where’d you come from, and HOW did you get here?”
She swung her feet over, so that she was sitting on the side of the bed. She blinked her glowing crimson eyes at him a couple times and then began;
