It was a good fight, but he was killed just like the others. Both of the Conqueror AEP units were doing their best to kill him. Both of them had radiation AEP organs. It was time to move on. Freeing Heat Clan was at hand. There was only one more post to hit in the region. I was a bit curious to see what Marco, Polo and Angelo could do. As I looked them over, they told me. Marco had a flamethrower in each of his hands. Taking his gloves off, he showed where the flames would come out. "That's so cool." I praised him. He looked happy. Polo also had his organs in his hands. He could make fireballs and lob them at enemies. "You look like you could be a big fighter." I told him. It was nice. Angelo had rocket engines in the soles of his feet. It was powerful enough that he was able to fly up to 10 feet in the air. I had to ask him to repeat that. I could see that he was getting a bit embarrassed at the attention he was getting. Being able to fly was an amazing ability. 01 and 09-003 both got between us. Besides the radiation organ, 01 had a sonic organ as well. "We're much more impressive than them."
Destructive ability was not that high, but they did work well together. I pat him on the head and said "I know that you are a great fighter. That is why I brought you here." A moment passed before slapping my hand away. "Stop it already. You know I don't want to be treated as a human child. Especially not by you." he said. There was not much heat in his statement. I nodded my head. We could leave things there. 09-003 smirked and said "Look at us. It might be nice to have AEP organs, but there's really no point if they never use them." I shrugged my shoulders. "Well, it's time to go to the next checkpoint." I said. We then moved on. We needed to finish up and clear them out of here. The military being destabilized and on the back foot would be better for the coalition. We did just that. Several commandoes were waiting for us along with all the grunts. That made it harder to take the checkpoint. We got really pinned down by the sniper fire of one of the commandoes. Marco, Polo and Angelo were hanging back. Knowing what they could do, I asked Marco and Polo to get involved in their fight.
Even Advocates could fight people. Seeing me in trouble, they were willing to take off their gloves and join the conflict. Rushing the lines of soldiers, they burned all of the grunts to death. When the commandoes noticed, they all began to target them too. It was good for the team. Splitting their focus allowed 01, 09-003 and I to move more freely on the battlefield. Being able to run around and fight harder made it easier to win the battle. We killed all the commandoes aside from the sniper. We had to search for them. It took nearly and hour as they would run and hide between taking potshots at us. It was honestly annoying. 01 found him first. He tortured the commando before letting us know that he had him. When I saw what he was doing, I took out my gun and killed him right away. It was a mercy killing. 01 was pissed off. "Hey! He was mine! You don't get to steal kills from me!" he snapped. I just looked at him. "Are you serious? He was already dead when I got here." I said blandly. 09-003 was also upset. "Why didn't you tell me you had him!? We could've tortured him together." he spat.
