"Someone like you shouldn't get away with this. I wish you'd go to jail and never get out!"
Suddenly, Jon heard overlapping police sirens approaching the house. He glanced out the window and saw half a dozen black and whites out on the road.
"This is the police!" a man said, over a bullhorn. "Come out with your hands up! We have you surrounded!"
Jon looked back at Sarah with wide eyes. He couldn't believe it. Sarah had actually wished for him to go to jail. And since wishes couldn't be reversed, there was no way to get out.
He had one last chance. "Give me the stone!" Jon yelled, trying to feel her up. She had to have it somewhere. At that moment, though, a SWAT member crashed through Sarah's bedroom window and took Jon out. Although Jon was shot, it wasn't life-threatening. But, regardless, he still didn't have the stone, so he was basically doomed.
As he was escorted out, he yelled back at Sarah. "I'm gonna get that stone, you bitch! And then I'm gonna use it on you!"
Sarah still had no idea what he was talking about, but she was glad that the police were taking care of him. He was a seriously messed up guy.
"Jon Gibson," a policeman said. "You are under arrest for the murder of one Karyn Black."
Jon looked up in shock. "Karyn?" He could barely say her name. "Karyn's dead?"
Another officer leaned in and said "No thanks to you, you sick bastard." Then he slammed Jon onto the hood of the police car. "For this, you'll get life. But from how you cut that girl up like that, you deserve execution."
Sarah looked down onto the street, from her shattered window, and smiled.
