Panic

Frantically looking at his surroundings nick notices he is in a large master bedroom. The 2 children run excitedly out the door and down the stairs yelling "daddy daddy, mommy woke up!"
"Daddy?" You thought to yourself.
Examining the surroundings more closely you see pictures hanging on the wall of Megan's body with a man you don't recognize.
The pictures range from the two of you on a picnic, on a tropical beach, a ski resort.
"What happened?" You question still trying to get your bearings.
More pictures reveal a wedding, a honeymoon and you (still in Megan's body) having 2 children, a boy and a girl.
Looking around for clues you notice the 2 feet of snow outside and that you apparently live in a large gated community subdivision. Turning your attention back on the room you pick up a cell phone and the first thing you notice is the date.
It is Christmas Day 12 years after you first used the medallion.
