Jae had had about enough chastisement from this captain. This was her campaign setting, why was she being subjected to treatment by a non player character? The responsible Jae never would have done this, but stealth archer DM Jae was just fickle enough to intentionally remove the stone from the liquid as she handed it to the captain, intending to change him.

The captain accepts the Redstone through the cell's pneumatic delivery slot, and immediately drops it into his bad coffee

"Thanks. My guess is, it'll try and use that wish energy on the coffee beans and then the fractal pattern, and because the Redstone in the ship is already using those patterns, it'll just magnetize into that."

Jae paled under her cowl. This NPC had given more thought to her own game session than she had? How? What's going on here?!

"Sir, I request leave to go to my quarters and change," the security officer sputtered.

"Denied, step into cell 6." The captain seemed genuinely bored as he locked up the officer and returned to the bridge, Miss Warren nervously following him.
