Kaneko really screwed this one up. She thought she'd have at least seven minutes before some magical calamity hit the meeting, but apparently her inner chronometer was off yet again. And it wasn't like she could go into hiding from the Queen, not now that the entire town was isolated on the surface of an asteroid-like geological globule.
I... lost?! I don't lose...
She fretted over the cracked and charred onsen worker drones, not much caring what happened to the MTI people after she snagged the crucifix artifact. If she had more faith maybe she could heal them, but right now she was understandably wary of re-activating the thing that just destroyed her homeworld an hour or so ago.
"Why is this... happening to us..."
