Jon got right to the dining table where a plate of eggs, bacon, and toast awaits him right by an empty seat for him to plop right down on. Right across the seat was Zoe, looking at him with a bit of suspicion as she prodded the bacon with the fork in hand, to her left was Mikey, looking half done with his food. He didn't waste any time to take a seat and got into the food, but going half way through, he thought.
It wasn't long since he got a good surprise in the morning where he had appeared to have turned into a girl but still somehow looking almost as the same as he was the night before and also somehow having reality come unchanged. Could this perhaps be the effect of the interesting wish? It must be. He got well preoccupied with the thought having to bathe himself in this new form that he completely forgotten to bring the stone with him. He felt itchy just sitting there with the fork in hand and the thought of the stone being ju-
"Jon!!", Zoe nearly yelled at him
Jon jumped a bit after it and realised only then that he hadn't quite started eating.
"I'm sorry, had a thought just now... mm.. You know... school.", he spoke as he ate through the plate.
He continued going through the plate until he was halfway and only noticed Zoe staring at him for quite some time also barely eating hers.
"Anything wrong, Zoe?" Jon asked as he started fixing his own posture a bit to look a bit more masculine. She stopped eating for a moment.
"There's something weird about you.", she said as she resumed eating.
"Y-yeah?" Jon anxiously replied, slowly finishing up his plate.
"You looked kinda... feminine."
Jon immediately choked on his food before swallowing it. "Have I been found out?" He thought.
"How so?" He got to finish his plate and got right to standing up from his seat.
"Your voice for a start... it didn't sound like that the other day." Zoe answered as she got to finishing up her plate as well and noticed that Mikey is already away from his seat but forgot to being his plates to the sink. "Mikey!" she muttered in a low angry tone. She collected his plates as well her own and joined Jon to the sink.
"My throat feels a bit sore this morning so it might be that." Jon quickly made up a lie on the spot while he load his plate and utensils in the dishwasher. Zoe came up right next to him, doing the same with hers and Mikeys.
"You're also looking quite thin." Zoe said up close to him, now eying up from top to bottom.
"Okay... Didn't you say that I am a lanky boy two nights ago?"
"N-no. Wait, did I actually?", Zoe replied almost happy.
"Yeah you did."
"Then it still stands and now I have something else to use against you, Feminine booooy", she teased as she went off to the front door
"Ooh Fuck-"
"JON!! LANGUAGE!!" his mom yelled out from the top of the second floor stairs with a phone in hand and her shoulder bag in the other.
"Sorry...", Jon apologised as he is about to make a run for the door but is stopped by his mom at the end of the steps.
"Come here for a moment.", She looked at him for a moment.
He could hear the school bus pull up in the distance.
"Mom, the bus!!"
"Are you sure you're okay, Jon?", she asked with a bit of a worried look.
"Yes, I'm sure I'm fine. It's just sore throat.", he replied, hoping to get her convinced.
"Okay, you do well now." She finally lets go, Jon now bolting for the door and for the bus.
