Jon's initial reaction was one of anger. He wanted to wish up a way to get back at Karyn and be more in control of the changes caused by the Random Swapper and the Wishing Stone. However, as he reached to grab the stone, he realised that Karyn must not have done it out of malice. Besides, it was his own wish that caused them to end up in this predicament.
The next day, Karyn and Jon had met up again to try out some wishes that could possibly revert these changes. To no avail, sadly. Every wish they made was carefully planned out, adding a condition to make sure that, if it turned out wrong, they could swap back immediately after. "I wish that, until I wish otherwise, Karyn and I will have genitals befitting a normal boy and girl." Debates about gender and biological sex aside, the stone interpreted the wish as turning Jon into a girl, and Karyn into a boy. They quickly reverted these changes thanks to the condition Jon had included in his wish.
The two learned that, whichever way they tried to phrase their wishes, these wishes would always end up changing things around their genitals, and not the genitals themselves.
By the time a week had passed, the two had all but given up turning back. The only changes they'd been able to make involved better bladder control, so that an incident like that on the first evening wouldn't happen as easily a second time. An internal check and verify system, where one could relax their bladder, while the other could hold it up until they were seated on the toilet themselves. No talking out loud, no communication over the phone. It made things easier and less embarrassing for the both of them.
It didn't solve their second issue though. One made all the more clear when Jon was lounging on his bed, reading through a sci-fi magazine Karyn had brought from home for him to read. Jon had begun to notice that Karyn, from where she was seated on his desk chair, had been staring at his junk for the past 5 minutes or so.
When he finally put away the magazine, he realised what was up. A raging boner was tenting his leggings. "Christ Karyn. That scared me!" Jon couldn't help but feel embarrassed. These random boners had popped up now and again these passed few days, but it hadn't been this bad until now.

Then it's embarrassing to know that technically, I'm the one the have that boner, and finally, I'm left frustrated knowing I can't do anything about it." She looked back up at me, staring into my eyes. "Haven't you felt aroused at all since the change?"
Jon felt flushed, being asked that question. But he decided to answer honestly, knowing it would be best to remain open and honest about their situation. "I have... felt that way. Just not as strongly as normally, and it mostly subsided after a couple minutes or so. I didn't feel an urgent need to relieve myself." He pressed down against the still raging boner beneath his hands. "Do you... want help getting rid of it? Just try thinking about awkward or embarrassing situations, that normally helped distract me from being aroused."
Karyn huffed, her shoulder tense, not daring to look at scene in front of her as she felt the pressure against her dick increase a little as Jon tried to cover himself up. "Honestly Jon? I think that ship has sailed. At this point, I'm about ready to burst."
