Joanna stood in her best athletic attire, looking down at her Princess as she laid on the dirt, wallowing in tears.
"Are... is it well with you, my lady?" She offered before Karina glared up at her with some fancy regal emotion between anger and sorrow. How do I get those fancy emotions? Maybe it's best I don't know...
"How can I continue when my crown, my very lineage, is of a sorcery! With what right did my family banish the McMillans from power if without the stone's magic I am become a commoner!" Karina's language was coming apart, but still seemed better than most people's refined words.
"Listen, you and I still learned to dance by my aunt's guidance in both realities, I'd wager. You're my princess no matter what the stone or reality says. If I let things like this bother me, the entire province would come unstuck... or something..." Joanna hoped her words were fancy enough for Karina to take to them. She wasn't that surprised about apparently having been a boy, but being ruled over by McMillans seemed out of the question, they were not wishing that paradigm back.
"I... how are you so strong? Maybe you would be better at arbitration of Lake Point's fate than I..."
Oh brother, she's going to be like this all week... Joanna bristled.
