Changing her thoughts back to her visit to Tiffany's house, Sarah muttered "I wish the school allowed us to wear sexier cheerleading outfits. The cheerleaders from Morton can, so why not us too?" Morton was the next town over.
Unknown to Sarah, her wish was granted. But she didn't find out until she arrived at Tiffany's house.
Jon knocked on Karyn's front door and shortly after, Karyn opened it. "Jon, you sounded almost hysterical on the phone. What's wrong?" she asked.
"The stone's missing. I thought that Sarah took it, but now I'm not sure."
"What stone? Jon, what are you talking about?"
"The wishing stone, obviously."
Karyn looked confused. "Wishing stone?" she asked, as if Jon was making it up.
Jon's eyes went wide. Whatever Sarah wished for, apparently Karyn was also affected by it. She no longer knew about the stone. This was bad. Very bad.
Sarah knocked on Tiffany's front door and a moment later, Tiffany opened it, letting her inside.
