Jayden was affected the worst by this change without a doubt. While Carly was changed in mind and simply believed that things had always been like this, Jayden fornerly James remained completely aware and horrified that life was now stuck in this bizarre situation. He rushed back home, and quickly text Carly back to ask her to meet him -
Jayden - "Hi babe come meet me at home, we need to talk about this xxx"
Carly - "About what? Is Esmae okay??"
Jayden " What? Yes she's fine, I just wanna see you"
Carly - "Why? There's no need if Esmae's not there, I'll come up later when she's back xxx"
Jayden sunk back horrified. She now had no particular interest in him and just saw their relationship as something to accommodate her being able to see his sister. Elsewhere back in the playgroup, Esmae playing with a unicorn toy and a doll suddenly stopped and said to her friend Grace -
"My brother Jayden's girlfriend is called Carly. She has a really big bum bum!"
They both burst out laughing in the way kids do when they hear a silly word. "Imagine they swapped bum bums!", Grace shrieked through laughter. Suddenly a deep voice boomed out of nowhere "Your wish is my command! It will take effect in one hour".
Esmae and Grace were understandably startled. "What does that mean?" Grace asked. "I don't know", replied Esmae. "Let's just make a silly language- ka ka koo koo bum bum farty pants!" Both began howling with laughter again.
Elsewhere, the unfortunate wish that the two had just made was about to change Carly and Jayden forever...
