Jason thought of his options, his cousin looking at him with that 'daring' look. Somehow… just somehow looking all the more strange with her head in her arms. It was just so… so weird! What exactly could he do that would top getting ones head cut off? He certainly didn’t want to do that and he didn’t want to go anywhere near that kind of power. Watching his cousin do it was far more then enough.

“Okay,” Jason agreed. “I’ll do it- but there are a few rules.”

Lucy grinned, while her body struck a slightly leaning in pose. “I’m listening...”

“I don’t want my head separated from my body.”

Lucy rolled her eyes. “What, not even if you could put it back on?”

“No! I might lose it or something.” Jason felt more then a little creeped out by the mere possibility of losing a body part- then somehow losing it. Given his cousin was technically composed of two parts now semi autonomous, what would happen if she did lose her head?

“Okay fine,” Lucy sighed. “Under no circumstances can your head be removed. Happy?”

“Yeah.. so.. what do you have planned?” Jason looked at the blade cautiously.

Lucy though was trying to be imaginative. “To be honest, your rule has taken away about 99% of what I had planned to do.. but maybe we can still do something interesting.” She carefully made a selection. “I’m not too sure what this will do but I have to admit I am curious…”

“What about the whole.. reality changing thing. I’d like to be aware that I’ve changed too. So you got to involve me in the time stop, just like last time.”

Lucy gave it all some very careful thought. “Okay… however here’s my condition. You need to wear a blindfold and no peeking or saying anything until afterwards.”

Jason muttered. “yeah fine..”

“Great! Let’s go back to the bedroom. This is going to take a bit of work to prepare for...”

Jason waited, his legs twitching on the side. He was nervous… what was Lucy going to do? Maybe he should have been more assertive. He could still back out now right? Just forget all about doing this. The strange Katana felt like it could be dangerous- or at least should be. Though everything has gone as planned so far… but it seemed to him that Lucy wanted to try something much more exotic now. Maybe he should have just asked to get his head detached and re-attached.

Lucy started coming back into the room. To Jason's surprised with her head reattached.

"I thought you were enjoying headlessness" Jason said, tipping his head questioningly.

"Oh I am" grinned Lucy, picking her head off her shoulders and replacing it a couple of times. "I just made a little adjustment."

Jason's jaw dropped. "Oh no, you are not doing that to me!" he protested, pointing his finger at Lucy.

"Humph, fine" Lucy shrugged, tossing a blindfold at Jason. "Put this on and stand over here."

Jason made his way to the middle of his room, and put the blindfold around his head, resting it above his eyes. Lucy held the handle in front of him to hold with one hand. With the other, Jason reluctantly lowered the blindfold over his eyes. He was worried, having no idea what his cousin had planned.

As soon as the blindfold was in place, Lucy turned the dial and clicked the red button, the purple glowing blade shooting out between them.

Then Jason felt a cold shiver pass through his eyebrows to the back of his neck, and he heard a hiss at the same time. "Lucy! I just said..." he tried to protest but he couldn't move his mouth... did he even have a mouth?

"Don't worry; that wasn't the detach setting," Lucy reassured him not very reassuringly. Then Jason felt her hand on the top of his head, and a squeezing sensation. He remembered the orange setting... was she shrinking his head? The feeling of contact on his scalp had spread, and he had the suspicion that his head, or all of him, was inside her closed fist. Then she adjusted her grip and it felt like he was further shrinking between two great walls.

Lucy paused to consider Jason's cranium between her thumb and index finger. His whole skull was only about the size of a pea now, almost invisible atop his shoulders. She had cut a plane to keep the top of his head intact but not much else. Technically this was not decapitation as she was removing his cranium, not his entire head. Besides, he would be in one fixed piece in just a moment. Keeping Jason's original senses would only be... confusing. She went to fetch the item that was meant replace them.

It was Jason's gaming laptop, or rather a duplicate of it that she'd prepared when she was out of the room. It was already in pieces, as she'd used the katana to open up the casing. No need to melt glue, pry open hidden latches, or use funny-shaped screwdrivers with this thing! The trickiest part had been using the very tip of the purple blade to slice the CPU off of the mainboard.

Carefully holding the tiny dot that was Jason, Lucy made one last slash with the yellow blade, and then seated Jason in the empty CPU socket. With the katana still in replacement mode, it was easy to reverse the damage she'd done to the outer casing, simply pressing parts together and sealing Jason up inside. He was now the replacement CPU.

For Jason there was a strange feeling of being disconnected from everything. He might have panicked if he could, but he had no heart to pound. All he could do was listen, strangely calm, while Lucy left the room and came back. Suddenly Lucy was grabbing whatever he was and pressing him against something cold and metallic... and suddenly he was that something... and then he fell asleep.

Satisfied with her work, Lucy pressed the red button to unfreeze the world. She lifted the lid to wake Jason from sleep mode, excited to see what it would be like talking to her cousin, the living computer.
