Jon hesitated. He wondered if he had any other options. Considering he had school tomorrow...if for some reason I can't find any of my clothes, having a spare uniform could come in handy...
He rummaged through some other piles of clothes and was surprised at how absurdly organized everything was. There were several baskets to comb through, and each item he pulled out was a school uniform, albeit all female so far and in many different designs. Some simple, some modest, others...not so much. He soon realized they seemed to continue the cosplay theme from before, as the uniforms appeared to be related to characters from various games and anime. In fact, the piles were grouped by the anime or game they came from, and he recognized quite a few.
The first one was a pile of female uniforms from Persona. The one he initially picked up consisted of a dark plaid skirt, white button-up blouse with a sleeveless black dress to go over it, along with some black tights and brown loafers. Surprisingly, there was a photo attached that made it obvious it was Makoto Niijima's uniform, though the other outfits from the pile shared many similarities.
The second basket was far more complex- every uniform looked different, and at first Jon thought it might just be a miscellaneous collection that didn't belong anywhere else. But one stood out to him: The white button-up with a pink ribbon had a very recognizable dark teal hoodie with pink highlights, a pleated beige skirt, dark knee-high socks and another pair of brown loafers. Not to mention the pink backpack. He knew it was Chiaki Nanami's uniform from Danganronpa 2 without even looking at the accompanying photo, but afterwards he realized the rest of the pile had been filled with other characters from the series. "I forgot they all had different outfits..."
The third pile was perhaps the most standardized. White button-up with a brown sweater vest on top, capped off by a light brown blazer with a red ribbon. With it was a blue pleated skirt, white knee-high socks and brown loafers. Jon quickly recognized it as the outfit the girls wore in Doki Doki Literature Club. The size of the uniform he picked up (and of course the photo) made it clear he had picked up Natsuki's uniform, but the rest of the uniforms were also there in larger sizes.
Finally, the last basket and set of uniforms he decided to look at also had pretty standardized uniforms. The usual button-up, this time covered by a yellow sleeveless vest and green bow tie. The skirt was plaid, pleated and green, with navy knee-high socks. The shoes...not surprising. "Man, does every single girl wear brown loafers?" Jon said this to deflect from the fact that, being a man of culture, he recognized the outfit from the ecchi To Love Ru, a badge of shame he was not going to tell anyone anytime soon. Nevertheless, the attached photo was of Risa Momioka, and without the image he could have guessed it belonged to any of the characters.
Jon pondered for a bit. These are definitely...options. He figured he could keep looking in the baskets he had already found, or search for more baskets. Heck, with that wish for something interested, he wouldn't be surprised if he opened a door to an infinite closet with infinite possibilities! Hmm...
