As it happens, at that exact moment somewhere across the multiverse, Princess Genevieve, the Bewitching Beauty of House Guffin, whose name was legend in her land and whose youth had seen lifetimes of adventures, was frustrated.
"This is frustrating," she said. "I wish things would be more normal for a while."
Princess Genevieve was fresh off her 2nd kidnapping in 3 months, having just been escorted to her holding room in the dark and dangerous dungeon with dragons wherein she would await probable death defying rescue by a rogueish and handsome warrior, or else ransom at the hands of the fiends who now held her hostage for their selfish gain. Doubtless it meant for her months of careful political maneuvering with war looming ever so close on the horizon, probable romance and sex and violence and death and so many other interesting things in this world of magic and wonder, and Genevieve almost didn't care. What the Princess really wanted was a nap. Perhaps a few months in some small village, remote and far removed from here, she thought. Somewhere quaint and relaxing, where I might live a normal life.
So, naturally, Princess Genevieve was then isekai'd to the real world. In her place -- as a matter of fact, in her old body -- was Jon Gibson.
