Oh sweetie.....

"Oh sweetie, you've been unconcious several weeks. I'm afraid Nick is in a coma." Megan's mother said.
"But he will be ok? Right?" Nick was worried, not only was his body in danger but so was the woman he loved.
"He is not in serious jeopardy but only time will tell. But you need to focus on getting better yourself."
The doctor walked in. "Actually now that you are awake you can probably go home in a couple of days. I'd wait a week before easing back into work."
Home? Work? this was ridiculous. This could all be fixed with the Medallion.
"Where is my purse?" Nick said desperately having put it there to be safe.
"I'm afraid you were lucky to survive that crash. If you had a purse it may be in the vehicle at impound but it could have been thrown from the crash. But I'm sure anything you had can be replaced. Just be sure to cancel your credit cards."
Nick decided right away that as soon as she was free to leave she needed to visit the impound lot.
