Jon scrambled away as quickly as possible. By the time he heard Sarah shouting from her basement door, he was already at the edge of earshot.

"Which one of you bitches stole it! I'll find out! I'll find out who stole it!"

Jon sighed in relief. Since he'd stayed hidden she'd never suspect he was the one to steal it back. And now that he had the stone, the chances of Sarah getting it back were non existent.

He slowed his gait before he sprained an ankle and began to take smaller more mincing steps. It felt silly, but it was also easier to walk like this. For the next block or so, he clomped his way foreword until he started to get the hang of walking heel to toe in his new thigh highs. He was anything but graceful, but at least he didn't feel like he was in any danger of breaking anything like this.

The next half hour was silent. He could hear his own breathing, and the sound of distant traffic. An owl hooted every now and then. But more than anything else, the sound of his heels rhythmically clicking against the sidewalk brought a deep blush to his face. Every time a car rolled by he quickened his mincing pace, and every time it drove on, he sighed with relief. He desperately hoped no one recognized him, but was too cautious to use the stone after the wishes he was just subjected too. Even the simplest wish might make his situation even worse.

As he neared his home he reached for his phone. It was pressed tightly against his right ass cheek, and with he flustered as he realized it was just trapped beneath the vinyl. He didn't have any pockets. Quickly he shot Karen a text.

"I need you to meet me at my house, NOW!"

Text sent, he steps into his house only to be greeted by his mother in the dining room. She was eating a microwavable meal when here eyes lock onto his. He freezes like a dear in the headlights, and begins a stuttering explanation.

She just holds up her hands and a look of exasperation comes over his face. "Jo, you know how much I hate you clubbing on school nights, and you missed dinner too." She sighs. "But as long as you meet curfew... I'm ok with it." She says that last line with a certain weightiness. It's clear that it took some time for her to come to terms with "Jo's" decisions.

"T-thanks mom." He pipes out before dashing up the stairs. These wishes apparently changed more than just him!
