Carol, formally Mia, sighed. She was the housewife of a mid-level executive at a New York bank who heard about a new resort called Paradise Winds and had decided to take vacation there. After her plane landed Kalea, a woman who clearly had a few screws loose in her head and apparently ran the island, had taken her family and some other people into a lab and forced her into the body of the Princess Eleanor's stylist and implanted a mental command for her to be deferential to her employer. "What kind of person brings a stylist on trip to a resort? I should have been enjoying my vacation with my husband and kids, not being a servant!" Mia thought to herself. Her husband Thomas had been put into the body of a 23-year-old woman named Mary on a bachelorette trip with her college friend. Her ten-year-old son and eight-year-old daughter had been "spared" from swapping by Kalea, but were now on vacation with the people whose minds had been put into their parents' bodies. "I hope those kids are okay," she thought, "They were in tears when my mine and my husband's bodies led them away to the room I booked". And to make this situation all the more strange Princess Eleanor was apparently a teenage boy who seemed to be enjoying this.

Suddenly, the door opened, and Amber, who Mia had a vague awareness was actually some teenage goth girl despite her appearance as a professional looking woman, let Carol know that the princess was ready to get changed into her dinner outfit. After Amber left Princess Eleanor told Mia " Carol, I do need to look my best for dinner tonight. Luxe Lumière will have rich and powerful people there and I need to make an impression." Mia gritted her teeth to suppress a groan and started to do her job, Kalea had told her if she acted like a good servant she would let Mia back into her old body and she could see her kids again. Fortunately she was old enough and had gone to enough parties with her husband to do a passable job at being a stylist for royalty.

Mia worked carefully, her fingers gliding through Eleanor’s thick, silky hair, giving Jon a complex hairstyle fit for a princess. The makeup came next enhancing the princess’s natural glow. Mia put it on with the ease of someone used to dressing up for high society. The final touch was pink lipstick, which seemed to glow on Eleanor’s lips pouty lips.

Finally, once Eleanor's hair and makeup were perfect, Mia turned her attention to the dress. She slipped Jon into a blue gown that must have cost a small fortune. Gold embroidery wove through the dress like a fine tapestry, tracing floral patterns side of the dress and into the skirt. The neckline plunged down showing off just enough skin to maintain a sense of modesty while still projecting sophistication. The gown clung to the chest and waist, flaring out around the hips in a graceful sweep giving the image of a princess looking her best. Mia went to the princess's jewelry and picked out a pair of diamond earrings, a gold bracelet, and tiara studded with sapphires and rubies and carefully she put them on.

"There you go, Your Highness. You're ready for your dinner reservation." Mia told the princess feeling a sense of duty despite the circumstances, although the mental commands Kalea had put in her head gave her little choice in the matter. "Thank you Carol. You may go now. Let Amber know I am ready to go to Luxe Lumière."

As Carol left the room and Amber entered, Jon took a moment to look at himself in the mirror. Looking back at him was a gorgeous, elegant princess ready for dinner at an expensive restaurant. The gown hugged the curves of his new body feeling comfortable on his new skin despite the unfamiliarity of being a woman,"Damn, being Eleanor is actually kinda fun" Jon thought to himself. The fancy clothes and expensive jewelry, the private beach, the way Eleanor's servants fawned over him, even if he didn't really want to be a girl. "I never thought I could enjoy having a feminine side, but I guess royalty has its perks, even if I'd rather be a prince." But Jon still wondered wondered what the long-term effects of the swap would be. What was Kalea's endgame? How long would it take for Zoe to get over being her brother's servant? He shrugged it off, for now there was nothing else to do but enjoy the situation.

"Your table is ready, Princess," said Jon's sister her voice still carrying sense of bitterness at the situation Kalea had arranged for them. "Thank you, Amber. Lead the way." Jon said with tone of someone who was used to giving orders, just as Eleanor would. Jon then turned and started walking the same direction as Zoe, her new heels clicking on the stone pathway leading from Elaneor's private villa to the nearby restaurant, his new body knowing how to walk perfectly in heels. The cool evening breeze swirling around his new lush hair.
