"I wish that everyone who goes to that costume party tonight discovers tomorrow morning that their costumes have become real and their lives have changed to match their costumes. I also wish that everyone who doesn't attend the party sees those changes as normal. "
Zoe put down the stone. She was salty over not being part of the popular clique at school and so not getting invited to the party. Jon had somehow managed to get invited, probably by association with Karyn.
Zoe had one last idea and wished," I wish Jon and Karyn would forget about the existence of this stone until I decide otherwise." She then hid the stone in her dresser and headed to school.
Jon meanwhile had left the house and had just met with Karyn to walk to school. They had both left it late to organise costumes for the party and so we're discussing options.
