Wincing, I said "Sure. We can get you on your way tonight." Oswin gave himself a casual outfit and we left the apartment together. I had him wait in the employee lobby for me. Going down to the PEA lab, I saw 5 that were idle and unemployed. I asked if they wanted to join a clan. They leapt at the opportunity. I then led them around the other labs and gave them the same loadout. They each got 2 handguns. One fired incendiary rounds and the other fired better penetrating rounds. Each of them got a sniper rifle that shot toxic bullets, an automatic shotgun that fired heavily radioactive slugs, throwing knives and several containers of ammo for each firearm. I also gave them all 3 energy generators of each size. They might be untested rookies, but they were all level 35 and better armed than most commandos. If they were to take on the military for the sake of the transmission hub, it would take a lot of firepower. I got Skylar to do a couple of their sexual upgrades. I did the rest. All that there was left to do was to bring them upstairs. I could not assign the missions if I was not in their clan.

As soon as he saw what he was getting, Oswin nearly jumped for joy. He walked over to them and said "From this point forward, you are my clanmates. We will all be the new Impact Clan and take back the transmission hub for our progenitors." The PEA units were shocked. It was an honor to be chosen as a permanent member of any clan. Being called up into one of the 13 main clans was the most prestigious thing a PEA could do other than create and own a memory chip. I looked at Oswin and he turned to me. "Thank you so much Brianne. One day, I will repay you for everything you have given me." he said. I just rolled my eyes. What a Conqueror meant by paying me back was not good enough. I did not want to be kept as a pet. "Here's a way you can thank me. You remember the deal that we made upstairs, right? Let's be allies going forward. No attacking the coalition. No being genocidal to humans in your territory." He frowned at me. "I don't want an alliance with your clan or the coalition now. You all are in opposition to my transmission hub." "So you lied to me." I sighed.

Groaning, Oswin looked at me. He was clearly upset. "I honestly appreciate you and what you've done for me. I won't forget that, but it doesn't change my allegiances. It is not my intention to kill all humans. I will make them all serve our progenitors when they get here. What else can I do for you?" he said. It was clear that he wanted to be even. A Conqueror AEP unit owing a human was just as unseemly as being pleasured by one. I had to think of something. Then it came to me. "I know what you can do." I said. He nodded his head. "I'll do it if it is reasonable." "I want you to rededicate yourself to protecting humans. You will do that by having a kid with one. I don't care if you do it as a male or female." He narrowed his eyes at me. "You really love to insult us Conquerors, huh?" he said darkly. "Well, it's either that or the alliance with us. I want you." I told him. Oswin huffed and said "We have more important things to do than seduce some human woman. I'll send you proof when I'm done settling." They wanted to leave. I let them take a van. It would be a really long journey for them all.
