It was not like I was actually sleeping either. Just like him, my eyes were closed. However, I was awake the whole time. This was all just a massive farce in the end. Both of us were acting out some weird roleplay date. I did not know why he was doing it in the first place. I would just have to keep going to see what his end game was. I was only doing it because I was bored and wanted something new. Playing along with Oswin did not hurt. After all, I was in no danger from him. Saving Liam from Phobia was really great for me. I bought him and the mini-EMP. He gave me his AEP organ as well. Dealing with Oswin might net me some really good benefits. He let out a big yawn. I smiled and wished him a good morning. "Good morning. I actually like sleeping next to someone. Maybe we can do it again sometime." he said. Seeing him fake a yawn made me yawn reflexively. That was a human reaction. Oswin looked at me curiously. He probably did not know that about humans. "Yesterday was a very good date. Thank you for talking to me." I said. "Don't worry. We can go on another one too."
Pleasantly surprised by how well the date went, I offered him the chance to come back to my home town with me. Oswin agreed right away. We walked together quietly until we got to the place in the wall where I jumped over. I looked at him. Oswin looked ready to listen to me. "I think that you might be able to jump over the fence. If not, we can find another way. He nodded and said "Yeah. I can carry you over." Shaking my head, I replied "There's no need for that. How do you think I got in this area in the first place!?" He looked a bit surprised. "This fence is made specifically so that it can't be climbed. Even cyborgs would have trouble with barbed wire at the top." he told me in a skeptical tone. For some reason, Oswin did not believe I could do it. There might be more to the fence than I initially thought. Smirking openly at him, I said "How about this? If I go over, you follow right after me. My car is on the other side of the fence." He nodded his head with his arms crossed. "After you then, Brianne." he said. I waited until a guard passed and left the area. Taking a running leap, I cleared it again.
Questions were no doubt forming in his head. He probably knew that I did not have any cybernetic augmentations installed. Jumping a 12 foot fence without any aid was insane with natural human abilities. Narrowing his eyes, I saw him crouch into a ready position. Oswin shot up like a rocket. His jump was even higher than mine. That was not unexpected. Cyborgs were superhuman in many ways. The white haired AEP unit even pulled off a double front flip. I raised an eyebrow. He was certainly being a bit competitive for such a simple task. Clapping was all I could do. He seemed really pleased with himself. Now that he was with me, it was time to go to the car. Driving was a major hassle for me. Maybe I could get him to do it. He would be much better than me at it. Oswin followed me as I made my way there. When we got there, I saw something upsetting. A couple of street rats were hanging around it. Sighing, I walked up to them. "Hey. This is my car. Can you guys scoot a bit?" Both of them looked upset before looking at each other. "This just got a lot easier. Those keys came to us."
