By locking the outer layer of the bodies by shutting the nanites down made them easier to control. Once that happened, you could do whatever you wanted to them. We obviously were going to tell the Advocates about this. It was an existential threat to them at this point. 06-008 was lucky they just wanted to abuse him. They easily could have killed him. I wondered if it was even possible to counter something like this. Obviously, humans were not supposed be able to take out all the AEP units this early in the game. They were supposed to be bosses to struggle against. We were just speeding up the tech lines of both sides of the conflict. It truly was amazing. I looked back at her and decided to put my cards on the table. I actually was interested in this. "Look here. You got me interested. I'm willing to pay a hefty price for both the mini EMP and his safe return." I told her. She sighed. "I guess it was weird that we noticed some signals leaking out yet no one came knocking on the doors. Let's make this 1.55 billion credits." she said. Easy. I gave her the money and we moved to another room.

Once inside, I saw that there was a smaller room inside. A makeshift wall created that inner room. There was a large glass panel that allowed you to see into the smaller room. There was the Heat Clan's AEP unit. It was a black painted room with black tiles for the floor. It had a bed but that was it. The AEP unit was on the ground. Another woman was there, sitting in front of the panel with a laptop on her lap. She turned her head and saw me. "After the last hackers got caught by the police, I was called in. I had to hit the ground running. They deleted all of their work so it could not be used against them. Aside from the things that were already uploaded to the Phobia servers for research, I was starting from scratch." she said. I raised an eyebrow. "So you slithered in and got friendly with them? How did that happen?" I asked. She rolled her eyes. "I'd never be friends with a 'borg. It just so happened that a couple new units were spawned in. All of them were hiding from the military. I was able to talk to one of them by using old communication channels. They all liked me so much, I named him."

Doing something like that would be pretty easy if they were the only humans they could talk too while under siege. "I called him Liam, after a shitty ex. He seemed to love it though." she added with a frankly disgusted look on her face. "So what have you been doing to Liam?" I asked. The woman who brought me in took over. "We've been trying to get more information out of him. We know that the chest port will be a gold mine of data for us. Laura's been trying to coax him into it. So far, he's been unwilling to open up." "He's been fucking her for the last week and nothing. Even me and the boys got in on it. That body is made of nanites; we can be as rough as we want and he won't break. Even though they are pussies, they aren't dumb. We're not getting in unless he lets us inside." the brute chimed in. That was true. "Well, I just paid for the device and the AEP unit. I'll let you give me a little demonstration. After that, I'm taking them home with me." I said. Laura sighed before standing up with the laptop. She set it down and said "Fine. I was going in anyway." "I'll get the boys!" the brute added.
