Had he really been sitting there for five hours? Jon couldn't believe the time.
Sarah had long since gone home. When she left though, was a bit hazy. He remembered briefly waving goodbye, but it was during the episode when Khloe was getting her scandalous DUI, so he didn't pay much attention and probably just waved her off.

It had to be at least 10pm. Had Karyn called? Jon uncrossed his legs and grabbed his pink Blackberry off of the table. There was no need to call her back yet, they'd see each other in the morning. He wasn't looking forward to going to school tomorrow. Sure, the study session with Sarah went well, but school meant having to get ready. Getting ready meant waking up early. His routine hadn't changed much, but since the school year had started, Jon felt a lot of anxiety about his clothes. It was almost like he was two people. One part of him wanted to dress up fancy, be noticed, drink in the attention with fashion, but there was still a nagging side that wanted to scrub it a little; throw on a t-shirt and jeans, some sneakers, and head out the door. He glanced back at the TV -- maybe he had just been watching too much Kardashians, he thought, and absent-mindedly grabbed the bottle of lotion off of his computer desk.

Either way, he'd still have to make sure his legs looked as good as they did tonight. He grinned a little as he began to rub the shea butter extract in. These black satin shorts he was wearing didn't hurt either. Such a shame that they were the only pair he had. Maybe he'd go out and get another pair or two tomorrow. But where had he bought them? And when? Why couldn't he remember? Surely he had to know. A purchase like this was completely out of character for him! Jon's head processed the fact that he didn't know where his shorts had come from, but strangely, he felt ok with it. His mind turned to more pressing matters, like the concern that his fingers told him that he'd have to shave his legs again tomorrow. Well, he didn't have to, but if the past had taught him anything, it was that even if he decided to wear jeans, some how, some way, someone checking him out would catch some unsightly stubble, and drama would ensue. It was the last thing he wanted, although drama always seemed to follow him around. He needed his own reality show.

If he was going to get up early, it was only a good idea to head to bed now, Jon thought, and switched into his trusty LA Lakers t-shirt. He looked at himself in the mirror. Did it seem a bit long? He always liked his nightshirts a little big, but this was a little odd. It wasn't loose at all anywhere, but just seemed to hang down lower than he remembered. Like down to the middle of his thighs. Tight everywhere else, just long at the end. A tinge of pride crossed his mind. He did look pretty trim. Maybe that diet was starting to pay off! Actually, he really didn't mind the longer shirt all that much. In fact, it was kind of nice -- instead of putting on his normal basketball shorts, he could just wear his briefs underneath, out in the open. It was actually pretty functional; he was cooler at night, had more range of motion, and best of all, the lotion wouldn't smear all over the inside of his shorts. Not bad!

He couldn't shake the feeling, though, that something was up. Jon couldn't put his finger on it, but all these little things gave him the feeling like they were adding to something big. What did Sarah do with the stone? He couldn't remember letting her borrow it either! Gosh, he was getting so dense nowadays. Whatever, he thought, Jon would get the stone back tomorrow and figure it out. It was time for bed...
