Jon sneezed, and then sneezed again. What was going on with him?
He turned his head and glanced over at the TV. Probably just allergic to no-talent celebrities like those Kardashian sisters, he thought, and chuckled to himself as he watched the two sisters have some kind of argument about which designer would sell best in their new store.
Sure, Jon was happy that they were bringing some extra business to his town, but since the Khloe and Kourtney arrived, it was almost as if the media just wouldn't leave. It caused a whole bunch of traffic downtown, and frankly, just annoyed him. As did the sisters. They just droned on and on about the dumbest things. Khloe and Lamar, Kourtney and Scott, boring and vapid. He felt a big sneeze come on.
Oddly though, his gaze kept returning to the TV. Something about the mundane day-to-day mixed with their glamorous lifestyle intrigued him in a way it hadn't before. Maybe he just never gave them a chance. Both Kardashians might be only be famous because of their looks, but at least they were taking those looks and leveraging it as entrepreneurs. All overpriced designer clothing, but at least it was a start. He'd like to open a store some day.
"You can move now." He heard someone say from behind him.
His head flipped back to see who it was. "Oh, hey Sarah," he casually remarked. Her smile was a little unnerving -- Jon knew she had the stone, he just hoped she hadn't changed anything. It was bad enough that she was now a 25-year old charicacture of herself.
He shifted uncomfortably from his left foot to his right. Where his pants a little tighter than before? Jon could've sworn that today he had worn his trusty 501's, but today, for some reason, the tag read 505. He never really paid too much attention, but just couldn't remember ever seeing that fit number in any of the men's sections before. Maybe it was a new release? Or maybe that's what Sarah had changed! But why would she want to change his jeans? They felt tighter all over, and seemed to sit lower on his waist than usual. He had to admit though, his butt looked great in the new cut. Since he was younger, Jon had always felt pretty self-conscious about his rear end; it was just so round, so big, so noticeable. It was, for all intents and purposes, a booty. He spent most of his clothes shopping time trying to minimize it. But it looked so good in these jeans! Maybe that was it, he thought optimistically. Sarah just wanted to check him out! Maybe he should've been flaunting what God had given him all along -- no wonder he always had such trouble with the ladies.
"I'm bored, Sarah. Feel like watching some TV instead of studying? That Kardashians show is pretty funny, I think I'm starting to get into it."
Sarah's ears began to perk up as she responded sardonically, "Oh of course, Jon, I thought you'd never ask..."
