“What did I just wish for?” Said John out loud, but no one explained anything to him. He was by himself.
“I wish I knew what just happened” and suddenly he knew. He had wished for something interesting to happen.
Frustrated, he thought about how useless the rock was at the moment and decided to move on, putting the rock in his pocket.
After playing video games for a while, he started thinking of Karyn. She was going to have a pajama party with some girlfriends that night, to watch the latest Stacy Williams concert movie. If only he were dating Karyn, maybe they’d watch it together, as a couple.
“I wish Karyn would be as interested in me as much as I’m interested in her.” he said while absent-mindedly holding the rock.
After a flash that went unnoticed by John, he got a call from Karyn.
“Hey, John-boy. What are you doing? I was wondering if you could stop by my house now. I have a favor to ask.”
Unable to resist, John said yes and went to Karyn’s right away.
“Hey John-boy, thanks for coming right away!” Said Karyn with a smile that melted any doubt John might have had.
“Eh, sure, Karyn, whatever you want me to do, I’ll do it” replied John.
“Great, I’ll just need you to act a little, to pretend you’re Stacy Williams. We found this book that allows us to …”
John didn’t hear the full speech, he just looked at Karyn in awe, wanting to make her happy, nodding silently.
“… in a few hours you’ll be back in your body none the wiser” finished Karyn.
“Yeah, sure” replied John, wanting to please Karyn.
Karyn and 2 of her friends circled John and started reading from the book they had been holding, while the others stayed in the tv room unaware of John’s presence.
After a minute, at most, John felt a sudden but absolute change. Looking down at himself he could see a feminine body wearing feminine clothes.
“What the…” he said, but before he could finish Karyn giggled loudly.
“Oh my god, it really worked! We have Stacy Williams for our pajama party!”
The 2 friends who had participated in the ritual celebrated along Karyn, giggling and yelling in excitement.
John looked for a mirror and could see he looked exactly like Stacy Williams now, international pop star.
