"I wish Jessica were 2 years younger and friends with Karyn, like Jon used to be friends with Karyn. I also wish Karyn didn't know anything about the stone, even if she knew about it before, and even if Jessica tells her about it, she will just ignore Jessica. There, is that better? You have your friend back and 2 extra years of life, yay!"
Jessica just looked at Jennifer, her rage making her beautiful features look sharper.
"Ah, sis, why do you keep getting angrier and angrier at me? You have your best friend back, doesn't that count for something? Ah, I see it on your face now. Could it be you wanted to be more than friends with Karyn. I could easily fix that, you know".
"NO! Please, Je... Jen, don't change Karyn, leave her out of this. You're right, I'm thankful... Thanks for bringing Karyn back to my life..." Jessica found no way out but to play along for now. She didn't want Karyn changed, altered, just because her sister wanted to. Even if Jennifer was right, she wanted to get Karyn's attention her own way, not through the magic of the stone, even if her new identity made things more... complicated.
"You're welcome, Jess. It's nice to do things for my little sis. You know I love you, right?"
Jess couldn't tell if Jennifer was being serious or mocking her, but she didn't feel like finding the answer just now. Suddenly, an idea came to her mind.
"Sis... Jennifer, can ask you something? I have a wish I want to make, can I use the stone just once?" Jessica said, in her best pleading tone.
"Sure! I wish Jessica can make a wish, just as if she were holding the stone, with same rules that currently apply to the stone." There was a flash after Jennifer's wish, indicating Jessica could wish for something now.
It wasn't what Jessica wanted, but it would have to do.
"I wish I had the magic stone in my hand!" wished Jessica.
In a flash, she had it. The stone was back in her hand. It was time to fix things, and even if she couldn't be anyone but Jessica for the next 2 years, it was time for payback.
