"Thank you, Kar-, uh, I mean Santa," Jon said, relieved that Karyn had decided to change him back to normal. But as it turned out, that's not what was happening.
Santa Karyn closed her eyes in concentration and when she opened them, Mrs. Claus was still there, but looking quite a lot more pleasant. Since Jon didn't want to be Mrs. Claus, Santa Karyn made it so that whenever Jon transformed into that form, Mrs. Claus would forget about being Jon and think that she was exactly who she appeared to be - a matronly old woman, married to Santa.
