Elsewhere in town, a person was running into a nearby building, after nearly getting bowled over by some horrific creature, something that couldn't possibly ever exist, but was definitely real enough. Running through the doorway, the person tripped on something, stumbling to the floor. Looking over, the person saw that it was a stone.
"What the ..." the person said, picking it up, then looked out the window at the creature. "I wish ..." the person said, not realizing that his or her wish would come true. But who was this person?
