"It was a wish my grandfather made.That if anyone else got the rock and tried to use it against me,that the rock would find a loophole to keep me safe." Jon explained."Or in other words,when she wished I knew what it meant to be stared at,the rock made me KNOW,without doing anything to me.When she wished I was a cat,it made me a cat,but then turned me back.She wished I WAS three,so I bacme three.But once I had been three it turned me back.The rock can't be used against me!"
"That's incredible!So if I wished your shirt was a different color,it would change and then change back?" Karyn asked.
"Let's find out!" Jon said,and handed her the rock.
"I wish Jon's shirt was purple."
Jon's shirt turned a bright shade of purple,and they both watched it intently,but it didn't turn back.
"It didn't work!Why?" Karyn wondered.
"My guess is because you used the rock to do something to my shirt.Try changing me.Something big!" jon said.
"Are you sure?What if it doesn't work?"
"I'm willing to take that chance."
Karyn thought for a second,and then wished........
