Her eyes widened with shock. How can I get out of this? Jon wondered. I... have to find Sarah... get the rock back, somehow...
"'Wherefore art thou Romeo'!" the voice insisted.
Jon realized the audience was staring at her disapprovingly, and felt a blush grow on her cheeks. Swallowing, she spoke the line, "Wherefore art thou Romeo?" Despite never having read the play before, she felt the rest of the words spill out, "Deny thy father and refuse thy name; Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love, And I'll no longer be a Capulet."
"Shall I hear more, or shall I speak at this?" the Romeo actor said.
Much to her confusion, Jon easily found herself reciting the rest of the lines.
