After standing around them for a minute, the instructors went to the front. They had the 4 Shines in a hanger. They were going to bring them over. Not only were all their mechas stored in the massive building, there was also a large on-call lounge. That was where the 8 pilots would spend the day they needed to be on call. All of them were going to be taken there so that they could see it. First, they needed to take off their pilot suits. There was no need to have them on. Also, it would be a pain to clean it. With that being the case, they would be able to go over and look at it. Once they had taken off their pilot suits, it was time to go over. Kageya asked "Aren't you ready to go yet?" he asked. Kazuki was as ready as he would ever be. "Let's go." he said with a smile. He hoped that he would be able to get along with Kageya. Watching the tail move behind him was new. He was not sure how long it would take him to get used to that. Humans did not usually have tails. It was a massive hangar the shines were stored. The building was 3 times bigger than where their simulation cockpit was.

It was on the opposite end of the base's land. Once they got there, the shutters covering them were raised. Marveling at the sheer size and design took the breath of the boys away. They would be the ones piloting them. For the Bottoms, they would be the ones interfacing with those massive machines to put their consciousness in. It was a crazy thought. They would become the Shine. For the Tops, they would be the one operating the mecha in combat and deployment. They would take control and use these giant machines to fight for humanity. "As you know, the Radiant Ones are the ones who have given us the Shines. Their technology is advanced to the point we would need centuries to get it on our own." the lead scientist said. The head instructor scoffed. "These Shines are as easy for them to make as tanks and fighter jets are for us humans. They're just stingy and only gave us 4." he grumbled out loud. That was new. Each team having their own personal Shine would be amazing. Having to rotate when on call did not bother Kazuki all that much however. They were identical.
