Jiro, at some point, had become sandwiched between the white haired twins in the viewing platform. He did not look happy about that. Kazuki would not be happy about that either. Minato looked to his twin and said "It's time to end this nonsense." Aoi just smirked and said "That's what I'm going to do. This has been nothing but a waste of time." He stood and brushed off his lap as if there was dust from sitting still among the rest of us for so long. It was so annoying that Kazuki could barely stand it. He wanted to go over and hit them so badly his balled up knuckles were white. There was no point in doing that however. Both of the twins were decent at fighting. Also, all of the instructors would lock him up for attacking another pilot. No matter how much they might deserve it. "Come on now. Let's end on a high note. You might be a better partner than the twins at least." Aoi said to Jiro. Jiro sighed as he stood up. "Boosting my record is worth it." he said to himself. That was true. Jiro's record was doing great due to the shakeup. He was once at risk at being cut out from the pilot program.
People would not be able to tell now from his record. Without even mentioning his successful partnership with Akio, Jiro had synchronized successful with Aoi twice. This would be the third time if they got it right. That would be a great record on its own. With Akio's assistance added in the mix, he was looking really good. Even with all his deserved accolades, it all paled in comparison to Aoi. He had been nearly flawless this whole time. The only real blemish was his third time attempting to synchronize with Haruto during the shakeup. Tensions flared and it lead to serious abuse on his part towards the tired blond. Kazuki and the others had kept the truth away from Jiro after that incident. If he was scared and nervous, it could affect his ability when inside the cockpit. It had seemed to have worked so far. After they ran off together, they seemed to have come to an understanding. All Kazuki could hope for was that this helped them here. They walked over to the cockpit together and received their gear. It was the easiest part. The staff looked happy that their day was finally over. One more.
Once they were in the cockpit, it was time to get going. Their visors flipped on over their heads and then a moment passed before a world was generated between their combined consciousness. Everyone could see it on the big monitor in the viewing platform. Aoi wasted no time lying on the bed with his arms behind his back. "You have a minute to generate your Black Pulse. Then I'm going in." he said to the ceiling after a moment. Jiro had already slumped down to the floor in the corner when he said that. The slacker was resting just as much as Aoi was. When the minute was up, Jiro got in the bed and began emitting the Black Pulse. Aoi rolled his eyes. "I told you to do this already. You're wasting my time." he said. Jiro did not answer. He was busy releasing as much pulse as he could before getting into position. Losing his focus to make a stupid quip was not worth it. Aoi had already been emitting White Pulse. When he got tired of waiting, he simply grabbed his partner by the hips and stuck it in to make a connection. It was rough and very rude, but Jiro was the one procrastinating.
