Menial Labor

Maggie collapsed into Karyn's arms and started rocking back and forth. Karyn just held her and tried to comfort her.
"It'll be ok", Karyn lied in an effort to comfort her sister, "We'll find a way out of this.
Maggie just looked up, and in a weak, hoarse voice said, "There's no way out! I tried but she, she... OH GOD! We're going to die! We're going to die like this and no one will ever find our bodies, we so small!"
"There, there" Karyn said as Maggie buried her head in her chest and sobbed some more. She looked up at Sarah was watching the whole thing with a satisfied grin on her face. Sarah saw the look of defiance in her eyes and decided something needed to be done about it right away. She reached for Karyn, swatting Maggie aside with little effort, who just limply fell away from her sister, and brought Karyn to her face.
"You still think you're hot stuff, don't you?" Sarah sneered at her, "You think your little fairy friend is going to come save you any minute, I bet. Well, I have news for you, he, or rather she is long gone and won't be back, EVER!" Karyn tried to remain brave in the face of her giant tormentor but all that did was anger her more. Sarah saw no fear in Karyn's face so she stepped it up a level.
"Ok, I see you aren't impressed by my obvious advantage over you. Well, I was hoping to save this for later, but oh well", at that Sarah put her in the fish tank Maggie had been in. From the bed, Maggie was watching in silence as Sarah reached into the drawer beneath the table and brought out a bug carrier. Inside were several black hairy spiders, each about half Karyn's size. Seeing this, she backed into a corner but Sarah simply said,
"Oh no, you're going to experience the full effect of this", as she tore some tape off a nearby roll and taped her to the floor of her glass prison.
Karyn struggled to escape but she was too small and was unable to move.
Sarah then emptied the spiders into the tank. They immediately rushed over to her, crawling all over her and exploring every inch of her body. She was afraid they would bite her but Sarah reassured her,
"Don't think I'm going to let you off that easy. These spiders are harmless, they're just my motivator to keep you pipsqueaks in line."
Karyn finally saw an advantage, no matter how small. Although her sister had a terrible fear of spiders, she didn't. In fact, she always thought they were cool. She played the part of scared shrunken woman and Sarah laughed and laughed until she had had enough and put Karyn back on the bed.
Kneeling by the side of the bed, she addressed her captives,
"Now then, you see what happens when you don't obey me. Are we clear on this?"
Maggie started to speak but Karyn nudged her to be quiet.
Annoyed, Sarah repeated, this time slamming her fist down next to them, causing them both to tumble over, "I Said ARE - WE - CLEAR? I won't ask again."
Karyn and Maggie looked up and replied, in unison, "Yes"
"Yes, what?" Sarah asked.
"Yes, mistress" they responded.
"Good. Now then, I need some beauty sleep. But you haven't earned that right yet. I want you clean my room. If every piece of clothing isn't folded to my liking, you get to sleep with the spiders. If it is, I'll see about letting you take a quick nap. I'm a merciful goddess, after all. Do you understand?"
"Yes, mistress", the said again. Sarah looked down at them, and with a grin swiped her index finger under their legs, knocking them both down. They just laid there, stunned.
"That's for not telling me I'm already beautiful enough, I don't need beauty sleep. You're lucky I'm too tired to do anything else to you. Now move out of the way, I'm lying down" Sarah said while at the same time jumping onto the bed next to where Karyn and Maggie were. They just barely avoided being crushed by her as they leapt off the bed and landed in a pile of clothes.
Once on the floor, Karyn saw how hopeless this was going to be. Even at her normal size, this room was such a mess it would take a couple days to get clean. At six inches, it could take forever.
