They had managed it. A White Pulse of 59 and a Black Pulse of 53 carried them through until the end. Kenji looked unsure of himself as he went through it. "Am I doing okay!?" he asked Haruki. The blond boy just chuckled at the question. Kenji looked scared that he had said something wrong. Haruki put him at ease by rubbing his back a bit. "Don't ask me about that stuff, Ken. I'm not a Top either. I just feel it and go with the flow." Haruki said. "Did you just call me Ken?" the shorter boy asked. Haruki nodded. "Like it?" he said out loud. Kenji took a moment to think about it. "If it works out for us, I don't mind it. But, isn't that a thing friends do?" was his response. Haruki shrugged his shoulders. "I'm mentally fucking you right now. We can be friends. I gave Kazu his nickname, right?" he said as if it was obvious. Kenji looked down at the sheets as he digested that information. "I want to be friends." he said quietly. Haruki heard him and smirked to himself. It did seem that taking the chance to talk it all out helped them focus and pass the time. A new friendship had blossomed in the shakeup.
Haruki's record was now much better. As of the sixth day of the shakeup Haruki's record was now 8-6. That was much better than his start on the first day. He Bottomed for 3 different people 5 times and Topped 3 times between 3 separate people. He was now going to be recognized as a real Switch. Kenji's current record was 5-9. He did his best and still had a day to go. It would be recorded as a Bottom pilot. Kenji still had time to improve it if things went well on the last day. That record was enough to pass and become a recognized pilot. Haruto's record was a 6-8. This was a marked difference from his twin. Such was the luck of the draw. If he had a much better partner, he would have a better record here. If that partner was a competent Bottom or Switch, Haruto might have become a Switch himself after Topping them. Kaito's record was the most worrying. It was only 4-10. He still needed a success. Kaito had 2 chances left. Something had to give. He could Top or he could Bottom then, but something needed to happen. If he could not synchronize the last day, he would be cut.
All 6 of them were told to leave. It was time to shut down the machinery in the hangar for the night. It would be getting a lot of work in the morning. It was the last day and the candidates were going to do their best to make it count. Kazuki was able to schedule his final attempt of the shakeup for the afternoon. Aito and Akio would spread it out throughout the morning, afternoon and evening. Both twins wanted their sessions right after another in the morning and evening. Aoi and Jiro would be finishing their set as well. Aoi looked like he did not have the stamina to do it more than once. Hopefully he would be in higher spirits and less tired. Jiro deserved to get his partner's full ability to make the synchronization work best. It was still only the afternoon. That meant they were free to do as they wished. Kaito pulled at Haruto's sleeve. "It's very hard to synchronize with how we are now. We might need to do that." he said. Haruto rolled his eyes as he sighed. "I said that you could fuck me if we failed the second time. What do you want from me now? A blowjob?" Kaito was getting too needy for him.
