No one had a doubt in their mind about Kazuki and Aito succeeding here. They had proven their compatibility time and time again. It was like clockwork. They went in the simulated world together, got in their chosen position. It had already been discussed before they got to the hangar. This time was back to their basics. There really was nothing either of them had to prove. Kazuki was the Top. Aito was the Bottom. Once they were done, Aito was at a total of 6 successes. Over half of them had been with the stable Kazuki. He Topped the redhead once and Bottomed for him 3 times. They still had the final attempt the next day. It would be a long day for Aito. Akio had been in a bad state since he paired with Jiro. He was discharged the same day as Jiro, but he was still sluggish. He was going to do all 3 of his the last day. When Kazuki and Aito returned to the viewing platform, they were congratulated by all of the others. Being recognized felt great. Haruto and Kaito were less enthusiastic about it than Haruki and Kenji were though. Seeing people succeed where you failed was always a little hard to take. "There goes my other partner. You make it look so easy." Haruki said. Kazuki smiled and said "You and Aito are great partners. You are the one that hauls my ass out of there when I go too far." They laughed about it for a bit. Aito looked at Kenji. "All you need to do is relax and let your Top handle it. Emitting Black Pulse is all that you need to focus on." he said. That was his advice as an experienced Bottom pilot. He was not going to confuse Kenji now by starting up a big argument.
The short boy gulped and nodded his head furiously. It was time for him and Haruki to go into the cockpit. There was no hand wringing from them. They watched as they took their gear from the engineering staff. Kazuki was hoping for a success between them here. It would certainly set the tone going into the final day. Haruki and Kenji had always seemed closer and more in tune than Haruto and Kaito were. If Haruki and Kenji were not able to get it together, Haruto and Kaito probably would not have a chance.
