"What? What is it? Where is she?" Karyn asked.
"I don't believe it, she's inside you Karyn!" Jonnie looked up at her best freind who's face had lost all color. "Karyn, you're..."
"Don't say it Jonnie... just don't!" she said, cutting him off and sitting down on her bed. "It can't be true! I can't be..." she couldn't bring herself to finish the thought.
Jonnie could see the terrified look in Karyn's eyes, and walked over to the bed, sitting down next to her. He wrapped his arms around her and tried to provide comfort as she cried.
"I can't be pregnant Jonnie!" she cried, resting her head on Jonnie's shoulder. "Especially carrying a new body for that stuck up bitch!" She relented, and seemed to calm down a little.
"Jonnie, let me see the bedrock." She spoke with a sudden calmness and certainty that frightened Jonnie.
"Karyn... what are you..."
"The rock Jonnie. Give it to me. I need to see that its true myself." She was standing up now, towering over Jonnie's seated body. "Please," she finally whispered.
Seeing the look in her eyes, he handed it over.
Karyn made her wish, and saw that it was true. Sarah's new body would grow just like anyother body. It would gestate inside the womb of a human mother, be born and litterally grow into Sarah again. Karyn was the mother now. She could almost feel the new life inside of her. Sarah's new life.
"Kar?" Jonnie's voice sounded a million miles away as the worries and concerns of parenthood weighed on her mind. Not to mention the actual pregnancy! She couldn't do it. It was too much!
